Is this your first time at Body Mekanix Studio?

All of our sessions are appropriate for Beginner & Intermediate students.

However, we recommended that new students with injuries begin with a Private session.

Pilates PT Sessions teach you body awareness if you are working with limitations, such as Osteoporosis, Scoliosis, Stenosis, etc. This helps you to understand how to use Props & most importantly when to apply modifications to help you get the most out of each exercise.

STUDIO OVERVIEW & AMENITIES

Our studio is very laid back and we open our doors to everyone who wants to share the journey with us. We love eclectic music and a good laugh but we also honor the space traditionally with full respect for Studentship.

Cell phone use is prohibited in the studio.

No shoes, no refunds, and no bad attitudes.

Just wear comfortable clothing and bring love, your reusable bottle, and a willingness to grow.

Our sessions are a 40-50 minute flow depending on the class and they start with a basic warm-up and end in deep breathing exercises.

We have lockers, a dressing room, and a shared bathroom.

Semi-Private Sessions

Our Sessions are structured to give you detailed information and individual attention. We believe that movement as a form of healing therapy, and movement designed to push our physical limits, are equally important. We blend different techniques to help discipline the mind, guide the breath, build strength, mobility, and balance. Choose from: Pilates-based sessions, Mobility, Therapeutic massage, and various forms of Yoga.

Pilates PT 

These sessions are dedicated to focusing on how you execute your movement. During your personalized session you will receive an anatomical assessment followed by a fusion of Pilates & Yoga exercises catered specifically to your movement health.

We recommend all new students with injuries begin with a Pilates Personal Training session so you know and understand how to use the Props and when to apply modifications to help you get the most out of each exercise.
